Inizio is a cozy, pasta-focused restaurant in beautiful Elmwood Village. Freshness comes first here—we make everything we can from scratch in our kitchen, and we haven’t begun cooking your pasta until the moment you order it. Our motto, “tutto fatto a mano” translates to mean “everything made by hand,” and we believe that the personal connection to the preparation process can be tasted on the plate.

The home was left to the women of Jamestown in 1951 by Mrs. Elizabeth Warner Marvin to provide a place for women's groups whose purpose is the moral and mental improvement of women engaged in literary, musical, educational, scientific or historical work. Through the years, many Chautauqua County women have worked diligently to improve and keep the home in good repair and it is a continual effort to keep funds and volunteers available for necessary projects to keep the home operational. New members are always welcome and membership forms are available by calling or visiting the Marvin House.
