The food and service was absolutely amazing!! Leonardo was top notch. Really knows his stuff. Everyone there was very friendly, and accommodating. Already recommended the restaurant to some of the golfers we met the next day, and they all said they we going to go. Keep up the great work, and the excellent food.

We had a very wonderful experience, the food was delicious and the presentation was perfect. And to top off our visit was our wonderful and very cute Abbey. She was a pleasure to deal with and helped made our birthday celebration memorable. And to also mention Leonardo who oversaw the service and lead the singing of Happy Birthday to my husband! We will definitely be stopping in the near future. Cheers

The service at 1964 was exceptional. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and had the best suggestions for what to order. The food was amazing. We really enjoyed our dining experience and look forward to coming back.

I have dined at 1964 three times now. Every time the food has been amazing. The chef is excellent and I recommend eating here. The fettuccine Alfredo is superb as well as the arancini balls. I love this restaurant and will be back, time and time again

We came for dinner yesterday with a reservation for 6 people. Weren’t greeted when entering when acknowledged it wasn’t overly welcoming. After being sat we waited over 30 minutes without anyone returning to bring water or take a drink order. Our party decided to leave again with no acknowledgment. Disappointing experience as we were excited to see more dinning options in the area.

A high end restaurant, suitable for downtown in any major Canadian city. Extensive wine list, attentive staff, excellent food, reasonable pricing, generous portions. It's all here. You won't be disappointed.

Our server, Leonardo was very informative, made excellent suggestions as to the menu. The food was delicious! The room for my liking was just a little dark. It was not very busy so we had a lot of attention paid to us by our server. The portions were very large. The food was very fresh. We would definitely go back.

Other than the mix up on the meals with 2 of our party members and steak cut was wrong for both people. They corrected one but the other was not corrected. But food was tasty. And the beer was not cold. Will go back as the first time we went & had steak - it was amazing.

The huge windows overlooking the lake, need to be serviced and most importantly cleaned. Not a huge item, but it takes away from the overall ambiance. Wine to expensive!

Very good food. The cesar salad was a little to big even for the two of us. The house bread and truffle oil/ vinigar was tasty. The pasta was very good. Osco Buco very tender although a bit over cooked it was very tender. The caroot cake was dry. Great cocktails.

Dining area was well appointed, the staff was excellent and polite and easy to talk with. My pizza was great, my wife had the chicken parm, the pasta was good and flavourful, however the chicken was dried out. We are likely to return again.

The pizza was amazing. The Arancini was delicious and the calamari. The carbonara was a little underwhelming and the ceasar salad had no flavor. Very bland.

We had booked ahead, not knowing it wouldn’t be very busy on the ‘off-season’ - and it seemed a little confusing at first as the website said Sinatra’s wasn’t open (for our before dinner drink), but it was!? ONE complaint … as is the trend, and personally for my hubby, the selection of non-alcohol beers/wine was way too limited!? Sadly, he had water … but did partake in a glass of excellent wine to go with dinner. The waiter/Maitre’d was EXCELLENT … VERY knowledgeable and accommodating … sadly didn’t get his name!!! We will definitely make a return visit.

Ambience and service was lacking. Very hot in the restaurant, wife and I were sweating. Server offered us two complimentary glasses of champagne for wife's birthday. The glasses of champagne ended up on the final bill, which I paid because I didn't really care, however I was slightly annoyed.

We were told immediately that we would have to wait an hour for our food even when I had made a reservation for a special occasion and it was 8:15 pm so we were very hungry. I asked for bread and they said no I’m sorry that will be an hour as well. I was disappointed in that, all the rest was good

The food and staff in the upstairs restaurant were absolutely fabulous. An amazingly delicious meal and the wait staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the food and wine choices. The meal experience was worth the trip! The food in the breakfast nook was less than stellar; the short order cook did not seem to be a trained cook. Our room was well appointed but was not cleaned after our first night of our 2 day stay. This hotel has lots of potential and we hope gets the little glitches corrected quickly.

Food was good! Not enough staff available for drink service and checking on us. I’d recommend a hostess at top of stairs to greet customers as we had no idea if we seated ourselves. But it’s just the beginning and we’d definitely recommend it to friends and look forward to coming back. Thank you

Overall this was a pleasant experience. The ambience was enhanced with special attention provided by the owners to all the guests in the restaurant. The service was hampered, slightly due to staffing shortages but more than compensated by the level of enthusiasm. Overall this was a wonderful experience.

Mare e monti was floating in oil. Server said nothing. Music needs to have more songs. In the 2 hours we were there we heard the same songs several times each. Windows could have been cleaned and some kind of blind to block the sun if required in the later hours. Very expensive. Advised them that there was a special occasion when making the reservation but nothing happened.
