Awesome experience as usual. If I had one critique is that I "liked" the new beet salad but "preferred" the previous one. I believe the previous one had fewer ingredients (only whipped feta, beets, walnuts and dill, if I'm not mistaken) which I preferred. Thank you for a great experience, again!

My wife and I had an amazing experience as we visited for the first time. From the greet at the door to the unique and eccentric decor to the wonderful service, this is definitely a do-again date. It was also so nice to see all staff including the kitchen staff talking, laughing and enjoying their job. It reflected in every part of the experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone reading this.

The drinks from Solera were so creative and delicious! The food from Tabula Rasa was very good, but I tried the scallop crudo, which was good, just wish it had been listed they’re served raw, and the Ricotta Gnudi wasn’t our favourite. Everything else we tried was absolutely amazing though. I would request more vegetarian friendly options, specifically under the last section. But otherwise it was a really good experience, thanks!

Probably one of the best menu’s I’ve had there. The chanterelle mushroom and shishisto peppers was amazing cod fritters were so crispy on the outside and steamy inside. The bartender is solid and always makes amazing drinks even when asked to make something off the menu, and best of all the serving staff there is so helpful and fun. We love taking a break and enjoying a nice meal and drink at solera after a busy and stressful week!

Our server, and everyone who brought out our dishes from the kitchen, were wonderful! So invested in our experience and excited about the dishes we had chosen that they were presenting to us. We ordered everything! Oysters, olives, cod fritters, risotto, potatoes, grilled octopus, the striploin, and the 1/2 chicken at the recommendation of our server. Everything was incredible! Meal for two was interesting and enjoyable. Less costly than expected after viewing the on line menu. The warm bread, however, was far too fatty to add the tomato butter. When I mentioned this, the server offered bread warmed but not buttered. This let me enjoy this menu item, although we had expected a more noticeable tomato flavour in the butter. The dessert was amazing with layers of flavours. The server was attentive but not intruding. I did, however, find her continual use of "we" as in "what are we doing after the meal, would we like dessert" somewhat annoying. All in all, an enjoyable experience and a delicious meal.

The menu was very interesting and everything we tried was excellent. I would provide more vegetarian options because even the salad we ordered had meat in it, and it didn't need it for interest or flavour.

The experience was even better, if that was possible.
The food was fabulous, server top tier and the drinks and food, no words really. Octopus and beets, wow! Delicious.

Enjoyable and great service. I didn’t realize I needed to make a reservation. Good thing I did though! It’s wasn’t at the exact time I was hoping for but it was fine. In fact, your staff did try to get us in earlier so good effort.

I think some other gluten free homemade crackers/little toast crisps would be nice instead of the store bought crackers. Bonnie Day does a homemade toast which is really good. Just a suggestion.

The bartender/ serving staff were warm, welcoming and seemed genuinely pleased to serve my sister and myself. The cocktails and food (bread with tomato butter, burrata, sherried beets and dulce leches cake) were delicious, and I liked how the dishes were presented to us with explanations on their preparation. The ambience was unique and fun, while at the same time cozy. And the icing on the cake was when the bartender thanked us for spending our evening at Solara. What a nice touch. My sister and I will definitely return. Thank you for a great time!

We loved it! Awesome setting, great food with interesting flavour pairings. The only thing I would change is the bland elevator music- not cool enough for such a funky place!
