Three of us shared lunch recently at La Terraza and had really delicious tapas in a relaxed restaurant. Prawns ( a special that day) were served with a aioli, Padron peppers and Patatas Bravas were all particularly good but all plates were enjoyed! We couldn’t fault the service and food from this father and daughter team. We would most definitely return.

The servers were extremely pleasant and, by and large, the range of tapas excellent. but the dish of mushrooms was uninspiring and so was the 3 slices of tomato with a small single anchovy sitting on top of each one. Furthermore, as it happened, 3 of the 4 in the group ordered albondigas and the first item to be brought to the table was just 1 albondigas serving and it was placed on the table without comment. Were the other 2 on their way or were the 3 meatballs to serve 3 people? Notwithstanding the negativities, we will be back; the overall experience was excellent.

The staff and food were superb and the outside location was lovely on a warm evening. However staff were under pressure which they handled superbly, with clear explanations and very professional and friendly approach. They did everything they could to ensure we had a great evening. Feedback 1. Beer had run out apart from non alcoholic - staff had to purchase from elsewhere and chill. Wouldn’t it be possible to have a supply of bottled beer? 2. 1item was unavailable (lamb) due apparently to delivery issues. This may be out of the restaurant’s control. 3. Would be good to have de-caff coffee available. 4. We would have loved ice cream on a hot evening - the deserts listed looked delicious but maybe have a couple of ice cream flavours on the menu? We would recommend to others as the food was cooked to perfection and the range was great. Thank you

Loved everything thank you BUT we sat upstairs and with the padding on the wall and the square cushions supplied ,these cushions are too bulky and doesn’t give you much seating ,so didn’t use them but couldn’t rest against the back . You need smaller oblong cushions that fit in the gap between seating and wall padding to support lower back .We we’re just a bit uncomfortable

After a long drive to visit my step son I found this little gem whilst searching for a place for us to eat. The place is a wonderful little restaurant tucked away. Our waitress was lovely and although rushed off her feet still did a wonderful job. Will certainly recommend and return when we are next down.

I’ve never had tapas before. The waitress was brilliant, she helped with the menu, helped me understand what I was ordering, put dips in pots so I could try rather than potentially waste if I didn’t like it. Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic experience. I now quite like tapas ☺️

The service was impeccable and the food was good but not quite as good as it used to be which is a shame. The halloumi was delicious as were the whitebait but the calamari seemed to be different and soggier as with the patatas Bravas which had a tiny amount of sauce and looked very pale they simply weren't a patch on the La Terraza potatoes which were awesome. Generally, our party had a wonderful time

Great food with some unusual combinations that worked really well. We particularly enjoyed the rock salmon as a gluten free dish. Our waitress was lovely and worked very hard to keep on top of everything in a very busy lunchtime service. We will definitely revisit.

Great tapas selection and service, restaurant is set over two floors, upper floor where we were placed is definitely lacking in ambiance and more difficult for the staff to look after guests. We booked 6 weeks in advance so slightly disappointed with the experience after having such high hopes.

Our first visit. Lovely atmosphere, service was very good. We chose a lovely pale rose wine to complement our food. Our only complaint was the mixed salad, a little boring, uninviting, lettuce was drab iceberg, served on a plate, would be better in a small bowl. But otherwise a lovely find and we’d visit again.

Friendly service and reasonably efficient. The food was generally good but the calamari could have been crisper. Downstairs seating is recommended as as the beams upstairs are a bit of a hazard and then some especially for us oldies.

We had been to the restaurant a couple of months before on a Friday evening admittedly not so busy and really enjoyed it. This time whilst we have no specific complaints we found there was less choice in the menu sporadic service, eg bread arriving well after the hot dishes so nothing to eat them with and the sherry should have been served chilled. Prices for dishes were quite expensive too although the quality was good.
