Raku is one of my favorite places -- the space is beautiful, the food excellent, and the prices very reasonable. I love their lunchtime bento boxes, and the noodle soups are a warm and comforting food for these cold winter days. I also appreciate the validated parking at the near-by garage under the Giant and the fact that the waiter brings the credit card machine to your table (no sending your card off with your server). The place can get noisy, so if hearing is a problem for you, go early!

The food was wonderful, and we now prefer this location to its sister restaurant in Bethesda for its food and ambience. Our only issue was that we ordered drinks, appetizers and main courses at the same time, and they all arrived at the same time. As we ordered a variety of sushi rolls for our main course, at least they didn't get cold while we ate our appetizers
