Set in a beautiful setting I visited the View with my sister for Saturday brunch. The staff were very welcoming and service was excellent. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and very spacious and our choice of a healthy breakfast and a veggie breakfast we're delicious. We'll definitely return.

We had a lovely breakfast with friends. Last time I came the restaurant the room was quite noisy and echoing but this time there was a much calmer ambiance due to the addition I think of sound absorbers on the ceiling.

This week I came to the View twice : - for coffee and toasted tea cake, and again for lunch. On both occasions the food and service was excellent. The staff are friendly efficient and charming. The food of super quality, served and presented beautifully. I live less than ten minutes drive from the View, so I consider The View my 'go to local' Keep up the good work, you have a winner formula.

We have been going to the View since it first opened and have always found it to be top class in every respect. It is always nearly full at every lunch time and the weekends it’s hard to book a table at short notice. The settings are superb and the walks around the area are great. A great Celebratory meal for my sons birthday! All the staff were happy, helpful and friendly. Alfie was prompt with our order, listened my my dietary needs and suggested changes which was very accommodating. The food was piping hot and tasted delicious and homemade, not a scrap was left! Paul and the downstairs team were very informative and had some great suggestions when I asked about us coming for our younger sons 18th early next year (large family party). We have been to the View many times now and always feel we receive value for money with quality ingredients. Thank you to all the team once again, Tina & family xxx

Staff always smiley, welcoming and quick to serve. Lively atmosphere. Incredible views. Plenty of parking. Clean toilets. And the food is to die for ! What's not to love ?

Everything was perfect. We both ordered the View breakfast which arrived quickly and was hot and very tasty. The coffee arrived at the same time, also nice and hot. It was our second visit and we will be back again
