We arrived quite late but the restaurant manager was extremely pleasant, the staff cooked us lovely fresh food and we sat overlooking the Bay. The bill was very good value and we were never rushed despite being the second last people there. It was all very nice indeed.

What can be better than eating with friends in a lovely, warm and smart yacht club. Sunday lunch was perfect - good portion sizes - loads of veg and great puddings - followed up by relaxing over a coffee in a comfortable lounge area

Friendly and efficient crew behind the bar and in the kitchen. The food was excellent and nice to have a chef that knows how to cook a steak to order. I asked for rare and got exactly that unlike some restaurants that always turn out steak medium. Can’t fault the view and style of the restaurant. Well done all involved.

Food was great. However, the choice is 1 course or 3 courses. The portions are generous so I was full after 2 courses but had to pay for 3. Would be good to gave a 2 course option. Service was good. We'll definitely be back.

Whilst booking I requested, gluten free menu. However whilst the main meal was satisfactory, no dessert or even ice cream was available & was advised that the order had not been processed.

The food in the last couple of months has definitely improved and the Sunday dinners are now much nicer especially without skin on the roast potatoes and everything covered in lots of garnish. The waiter unfortunately told us we could not order anything off the snack section of the menu we were all given which one of our party wanted and then 10 minutes later those snack items started being served to other people yet he didn’t come back to us to say this was an error or that we could order off it if we still wanted as one of our party then went without food. It’s just a shame now the dinners have got better they will be stopped until the autumn as there are many people I’m sure that will still want a sunday dinner especially with the current weather and will now go elsewhere.

The Sunday dinners are usually very nice but I do not like skin on potatoes and I was disappointed when the roast potatoes came with skin on them so I was just glad there was mash potato otherwise I would have left hungry. The pork was quite fatty. Probably my least favourite Sunday dinner so far.

An excellent sunday lunch though the beef and ale pie was obviously "bought in" and was more of a slurry with bits of tough meat. Would very much like to have a fish choice again. But overall pretty good compared with what we have had in past years. Been several times so far and will be back.

Ha had three beef mains - quite tough, my wife didn't eat hers, this was pointed out with no charge for my wife. Mine wasn't brilliant either and poor vegetable accessories. Sorry we love the club.

Greatly improved ambience and decor. Staff helpful but I expected table service for a reserved special meal. The meals varied in quality. Belly pork excellent, seafood pasta somewhat sparse on seafood!, salmon average, vegetables over cooked. Biggest disappointment was the response to a request for Gluten free menu. We were offered an ingredient listing to refer to and having made potential meal choices we were helped to find ingredient listing. Unfortunately it transpired that my guest’s first three choices all contained gluten and despite being told by the bar staff that the chef could substitute gluten ingredients further enquiries in the kitchen did not back this up. I’m afraid this is just not good enough, especially given the level of pricing set for the main courses. There didn’t appeared, nor where we offered, a dessert menu.
