We really enjoyed our lunch with friends there yesterday. We met Joe, who was such a warm and genuine person; it was like we were old friends from Brooklyn. The service was good and let us have plenty of time to catch up with friends before taking our orders. And lastly, Joe was 100% right when he said the Chocolate Cake was just amazing! We'll be back!

It took longer than it should to get a server to come to our table-I had to get up and talk to one of them. Once I did she came over right away and from then on the service was fine.

I had stuffed cabbage--very good. The other three in my party had the corned beef sandwich. Two said their's were very good. One complained her corned beef was very fatty and tough.

Very good pastrami on par with some of the NY delis I have been to (Carnegie, Stage door etc) however the portion was no where near the size with similar price considering NYC pricing is high.

The food was tasty, but our “hot” sandwiches were cold. The potato pancakes were excellent. The servings were large, especially the soup. A bowl of soup could feed 4. As far as ambience goes, the restaurant has the look of an old fashioned deli. It was clean, but seemed a bit worn. In all, the experience pleasant.
