Excellent service and good menu. We have been many times before and only thing that I think could be improved would be for more butter and marmalade on table so that we don’t always have to ask for more.

We enjoyed an overnight stay at The Inn at Lathones after a friends party. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated with a bathroom very generous in size that had a lovely bath with separate shower. The 4pm check in was a wee bit inconvenient for us but I understand that this may be due to staffing rotas etc. I found it tricky to contact the hotel to speak to anyone regarding this beforehand.
Very convenient for St Andrews and Elie, we would consider a return visit if we are back in the area in the future.

We had dinner at the Inn at Lathones and loved it! We were greeted immediately by our waitress, Mallory, who was very sweet and attentive. There were a lot of items to choose from on the dinner menu and everything we ordered was amazing! The room had a lot of ambiance and was spacious, quiet and romantic! We stayed at the Inn and had breakfast there in a different, brighter room. There were many choices and the food was delicious! Our waiter was attentive and nice. This was our favorite restaurant in Scotland. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Delicious food, great atmosphere and a delightful staff!

This was a last minute booking for us visiting our son at St Andrews. What a find and what great food. The quality, presentation and service in the restaurant was second to none. Food of such high quality and a menu so enticing with so many options.
If you get the chance to book a stay, take it, if only for the food. The new management have got a five star ⭐ restaurant and are now working towards 5 ⭐ accommodation. Sadly if they achieve their aim it might be out of my price range

We really enjoyed our meal. We were at our table for 3 hours and the food was excellent. It was a cold evening but the open fire added to the atmosphere. Food is fantastic, beautiful. Service we had was excellent. Ambience, in the bar by the fire was wonderful. Prices are on the high side but when the food arrives it seems ok.
However, the breakfasts at £17.95 per person are extortionate ! Breakfast for two at £36 ? a ripoff. !! There should be a lighter alternative. Not everyone wants a full Scottish in the morning. I Suggest a porridge, toast and tea alternative.

The only comment I can made is that we wish we lived closer to the Inn at Lathones to allow us to visit on a restaurant only basis, an example is we have a family Birthday coming up shortly and only the distance stops us from booking the restaurant for a celebration meal.

We had a wonderful meal @ The Inn at Lathones. Fantastic service from the friendly staff and a great choice from the menu. We had our meal on Friday in the bar which was nice and cosy with both wood burners on. We can't fault the quality of food we had, Karen's lasagna was the best she ever had, high praise indeed. The staff were not overly intrusive when we were eating but made sure we always had a drink when required, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely recommend the Inn at Lathones, and will be happy to stay again if we are in the area again. Thank you for making our stay special.
