Terrific service. Tasty food. Not all items on the menu were available unfortunately -- but what we were able to get was excellent. One ambience item for possible improvement. Moving a chair or a table on the hard-surface floor makes a hellacious noise. Rubber feet???

The Soup de Jour was just what I needed on a cold day. Asparagus and salad filled us up, and French fries and a sandwich topped it all off. French wine and Pinot Grigio were delicious and portions in our glasses very generous. Thank you again.

We really lucked out! Chilly morning and we were seated by the fireplace, cozy! Erin was our server. Very upbeat, great smile and our order took no time at all! And, you can't beat Applecrest in the fall. Excellent!

The blackened haddock sandwich was EXCELLENT!!!! My partner has the corned beef hash rueben and enjoyed it very much as well. Service was excellent. We were on our way to a concert at the chapel and the servers made sure we were taken care of with plenty of time to make the show.

Service as always was very professional and it’s always a warm, welcoming ambience with the fireplace roaring on a winter’s day. Even though there were two very large tables that needed serving, our party of 5 was served promptly. The food was tasty, and one of us had overdone eggs which were quickly replaced. The home fries were a tad undercooked and none of us ate them (we also find that we don’t need them - the rest is plenty). Always a reliable place to eat

Nine of us (7 adults and 2 children) had Easter brunch at The Orchard Grille. Everything was great, we loved it! The pancakes were unreal - the size of a dinner plate! Breakfast taco - yum! And my Croquet Madame was amazing particulary the herb biscuit. Service was prompt and everyone was super friendly. Atmosphere was lovely with the roaring fire. Highly recommend!

We were a party of 12 visiting for brunch the morning after a wedding, before some flew back home. The service was top-notch! Our server did wonderful with a large group, everyone received the correct items and in a timely fashion. The food was all delicious and presented very nice. Fabulous place. We went for a pre-concert dinner at the Word Barn, never having been before. It was a wonderful experience. The Corned Beef Hash Reuben was fantastic. Three of our part had it and enjoyed it so much. One had the pulled pork sandwich and forum that great as well.

After coming to Hampton Beach for over 25 years we finally made a it over for lunch. We ordered the special filet sandwich with Swiss cheese, spinach, mushrooms and garlic aioli. It was the best sandwich I have ever had. We sat indoors which was very quaint. The service was great and our food came out in a very timely manner. What a great experience. One thing, that did not effect our experience, but I did not like was while we were getting ready to order a musician was setting up, (a VERY hot humid day already and it wasn't even 12pm.) He has set up a tent and a woman (maybe manager?) kind of yelled? at least talked in a very unkind, disrespectful loud voice, to the musician that she needs the room and the tent isn't working(something to that effect). We could not ear the response of the musician, but then she said, "yea, I offered the tent because its going to be so hot but .....(we couldn't hear the rest) again, in a unkind voice. at that point, my husband and another man got up from their seats and helped the musician move the tent ( with the idea of putting one side of the legs over the stone wall so it would not take up so much room. I was and still am disturbed by how the woman talked to the musician. She was not helping problem solve, just rude and honestly very mean.

Love this place! So glad it’s back up and running. Location, food, service etc is tops on my list.
