Caffe Boa, founded by Scott Rennard in 1995, has been a long-time Valley favorite with numerous positive reviews and awards. We offer only the highest quality of food with an emphasis on fresh, organic, and locally grown produce. Caffe ‘Boa’ in Portuguese means ‘Good.’ We strive to give you the best possible dining experience with exceptional food and service. We provide a full-service menu along with a wide selection of wines, beer on tap, specialty martinis, great bar happy hour Monday through Fridays 3:00-6:00 pm at our bar and much more.

There is not charge to eat in the Bistro for the Staff of SMFBA, but we do request a tip. The tip money is divided up among the students and given to them on their last day of the program. While the students are attending our program, most of them are not working, so it is nice for them to have a little cash at the end

We brought to the valley our 20 years successful experience from Dearborn, Michigan. In 1996 we opened our first location in downtown Tempe. Our food is freshly made daily, prepared with the finest ingredients. Our goal is to impress you and our reward is to see you again with a big smile.

Super Chunk is a cafe, bakery, and sweet shop specializing in small-batch, handcrafted sweets & treats with a modernized, unique twist. Husband/wife team Sergio and Country Velador, create everything in-house, from scratch, with the best possible ingredients, including bread for the sandwich menu and semifreddo, portioned individually just for you. You can find us in Old Town Scottsdale, where we sell our signature selection of confections including chocolate bacon caramel corn, house made licorice (made with fennel, anise, and green chartreuse), mesquite chocolate chip cookies, blue cheese and fig caramels and an assortment of other unique treats.

A contemporary and innovative culinary gem of Phoenix is The VIG. The VIG is a modern bar and lounge accompanied by a full kitchen. Their culinary creations display international influences and their drink menu is extensive. VIG offers its guests a substantial wine list organized by flavor palate from sweet and “easy to drink” to full bodied and more intense. They also have a comprehensive list of cocktails and beers. The VIG has outdoor seating and a relaxed atmosphere. This is a great place to bring a date or simply enjoy time with a group of friends.

Established following the renovation of a house built in the 1900s, The Roosevelt Tavern is located in the heart of Phoenix’s art district. This house turned restaurant and bar features a full kitchen and bar along with couches and tables which contribute to the homey feel. This tavern serves American style cuisine and offers a substantial variety of beers, brewed locally and nationally, in addition to wines. The décor is sharp, savvy, minimalist, and contemporary. Lighting is provided by an array of candles and chandeliers. They even have happy hour pasta night every Thursday and wine and beer specials.

A ground breaking architectural structure and originally a department store, Hanny’s is now one of Phoenix’s premiere restaurant and bar combinations. Hanny’s is open for late night dining daily with the kitchen cooking until 1am and the bar pouring until 130am! The building’s architectural novelty, strength, and history are reflected in the design and layout of the restaurant/bar itself. The décor is modern and chic with its marble tables, wooden chairs, and leather booths. If you’re looking for a South American experience, search no further than Phoenix’s Bomberos café & wine bar. Spanish for firemen, this bistro appropriately resides in an old firehouse. Their cuisine is contemporary Latin and South American. The atmosphere is infused with history and the menu holds a great deal of variety. Bomberos is open early in the morning for that “wake-up –call” of a latte you need Monday morning as well as for brunch, lunch, dinner, and drinks.
