Welcome to Adrift Cafe! Located in the paradise town of Exmouth, it perfectly fits in with the relaxed atmosphere of the place.
Adrift Cafe opened its doors the 17th of December 2016. The concept behind Adrift Cafe is to provide simple, rustic, fresh food made with love. We think that by using good ingredients and working with passion we can provide amazing food without over-complicating it.
Our chef and owner Matt has been working as a chef for the past 20 years, the last 10 of which in the North West, so he knows the local produce very well, as reflected on our menu.

I don’t very often rate so high but this place was a definite 10/10
I was advised by a local lady and recommended the seafood linguine
It was exceptional!
Normally I couldn’t finish such a dish but after my workout swim with the whale sharks I even managed to fit in the homemade chocolate mint cheesecake .
I really wish I could have remembered to ask my waitress her name as she was so delightful.
She was very passionate about her job the food and the restaurant and as she should be it was delightful
My only regret was not going there earlier but wow what a way to remember your my last meal in Exmouth.
Will definitely recommend to anyone I know going up that way !

We went on a Friday at 7pm which we booked. By that time unfortunately they had run out of many items. No salad at all. No fish of the day. My advice is go early. We wanted to watch the sunset first. Earlier in the week we went at 6pm and it was great.

Food was beautifully flavoured and cooked. My sister, who used to cook and run her own restaurant in the U.K., was most complimentary. Especially about the garlic and cream sauce which was well balanced. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Portion sizes are large. Good value.

Very happy we found Adrift while in Exmouth! Little bit disappointed in the Coconut Tempura fish and chips as tempura could have been much lighter and batter had no taste of coconut! Otherwise food ordered was really great - the tastiest mushroom and halloumi burger ever!

Our absolute favourite venue in Exmouth..
One suggestion: There is a cool room next door to the alfresco area which has a very noisy compressor motor.
If the compressor noise could be reduced that would really help with ambiance.

Excellent food, as always, and prompt friendly service with the delicious main courses we ordered. The only issue was: once our plates were taken away, we waited for someone to bring a dessert menu, wanting to order coffee, but no-one came to the table. After waiting 15-20 minutes, it was nearing 9.00pm and staff were cleaning tables, so we settled the bill and left.
