SERGIO'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT has been around since 2010. Being Italian and coming from the beautiful island of Sardegna I guess a passion for people and for food has always been part of my DNA. In Italy we mix the two together as part of everyday life and so having all our family and friends around the table at meal times is as natural to us as breathing.

Cask ales; fine wines; international lagers, beers and spirits; relaxed and friendly atmosphere; log fires; cosy courtyard; riverside views and grassed area; cured meats & cheeses served alongside all home made: cakes, brownies, pate, soups and our delicious stone baked pizzas (pizzas served Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays) We allow dogs in our sheltered, heated courtyard, but not in the pub itself. We have enough blankets and hot water bottles to wrap you up when the evenings get cooler.

Villaggio is situated adjacent to the south and Royal entrance of Micklegate Bar & only 3 min from the railway station. We are family run, independent restaurant serving amazing craft beers on tap, great wines, cocktails and gins. Cooking fantastic hand crafted homemade artisan pizzas & much more.
