A Fitzroy institution, The Workers Club is an old-school, no-frills pub serving up hearty, crowd-pleasing meals. Whether you’re after a laid-back dinner, a beer and a bite before a gig, or a catch-up with mates, we’ve got you sorted.

Our menu includes vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free options — and a kids’ menu too. The kitchen is open from 12 noon 'til late, Tuesday to Sunday.

There was a problem with the table booking system. I booked a table and received email confirmation. When we arrived the booking wasn't on The Workers Clubs system. Luckily, there was one spare table, not a great one though. I would have been quite upset if we couldn't have been seated as we travelled an hour to get there. All ended up well though in the end. Booking system obviously needs some work.

We reserved a table on tableagent a good hour prior to arriving. Upon arrival, staff were unaware of any online reservations made. Luckily a table was made available. Suggest some form of notification is provided to staff to alert them to online reservations, particularly during busy times, which this was. Otherwise, the experience was good and just what we wanted.
