Frequently Asked Questions- How do I make a booking?
- We accept bookings online through Table Agent or on our website (www.bodeansbbq.com) or via email to [email protected]. On completion of your booking, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of making your booking, please contact the restaurant directly so we can make sure that your booking is in our system.
- Do I need a booking?
- We recommend making a booking if you would like a guaranteed table. We will only be accepting bookings online or via email. We keep walk-in tables open and depending on the demand, there might be a waiting time on tables. Currently, we only accept bookings of up to 6 people; if you book several tables, we cannot guarantee that you will be seated next to each other.
- How do I cancel my booking?
- If you need to cancel a booking, please do so via Table Agent, email or a phone call with as much notice as possible. No shows may result in you not being able to book again in the future.
- What happen if I am running late?
- All tables later than 15 minutes will be considered cancelled, and the table will be given to other guests if we have not received a phone call before your booking time. However, we will try our utmost to find an alternative table for you.
- What is your closest tube station?
- The closest tube station is Oxford Street and Tottenham Road. The closest train station is Victoria.
- Are you child friendly? Do you have a kids menu?
- We are a family orientated restaurant and welcome children of all ages. Children under 12 years have the option to eat off the kid’s menu (3-course meal with a drink for £4.95). We can supply high chairs, just inform us when you arrive or when making a booking online.
- Can you warm up milk/food for my baby/child?
- Unfortunately, we are unable to heat baby food or milk bottles. Your safety is our priority, and we wouldn’t want to harm you or your child in any way as we cannot guarantee the right temperature. However, if you require, we can bring you a bowl of hot water to your table so that you can heat your baby food or milk bottle yourself.
- Do you have vegetarian, vegan or gluten free options?
- All our restaurants have options for vegetarian, vegan and other dietary requirements. Our Front of House team is fully trained and equipped with information regarding different dietary requirements.
- Do you cater for special requirements?
- Please inform us of any dietary requests when making your reservation. We always try our best to accommodate special requests and can provide allergen information upon request.
- Celebrating birthday, anniversary etc. - what special thing can you do for me?
- If you are celebrating a birthday or any other occasion, please let us know when making your reservation or inform your server upon arrival - we will always try to make your special occasions memorable (dessert with a candle and birthday song or a glass of sparkling for the celebrant).
- Can we bring our own cake or beverages?
- If you wish to bring your own cake, please give us a ring and let the restaurant manager know. No beverages, except those supplied by Bodean’s, are permitted to be consumed on the premises.
- Is your food Halal?
- Unfortunately, our foods are not halal certified.
- Do you offer Take Away or Deliveries?
- All our restaurants offer Takeaway services - easily place your order on our website (www.bodeansbbq.com) or call the branch and place your order with one of our staff members. For deliveries, please head over to UberEats, place your order and wait for your order to arrive.
- Something wasn't quite right, who do I speak to?
- We’re sorry to hear that. Please let us know if something wasn’t quite up to our standards, and we will do our best to sort it out. In the first instance, you should speak to the restaurant manager. If you feel you haven’t been heard, please contact us via email ([email protected]).
- Why do I need to provide my card details when making a booking?
- For tables larger than 6 people and All day Friday and Saturday we require a credit card to guarantee your seats. Cancellations less than 2 hours in advance or No Shows may result in a £10 per person No-Show-Fee.

Easy to book plenty space not to cramped up with other tables, which was good. Prices alright shame no peach cobbler which I wanted. Chip portion could be. Little bigger but waitress was friendly drinks came quick didn't wait to long for food. We arrived early but they fitted us in. Which was good overall would go back.

The say was busy but the service was quite spotty. We had to ask for water 3x before it arrived and due to not being able to flag down a server or get a word in to order cocktails we decided to go elsewhere for a final round. The Thanksgiving menu was good value, but unfortunately just a bit bland. The best part was the smoked turkey leg but the ham was mediocre.

It was quite noisy downstairs so conversation was difficult - but I recognise it was a busy Saturday evening,
There were very long waits both for the starters and main courses. When delays are going to be experienced, it would be good if the waiters could explain and apologise.

Was shocked with the ambiance of the restaurant, looked like a run down pub. Tables wasn’t clean. It looked very unprofessional. I took a friend here for their birthday and I wasn’t happy with the choice of bodeans. I’ve been to one in Fulham before it’s much better than soho. Was quite disappointed. Food is decent. It was a lot better last time. The cranberry sauce (I think that’s what it was) tasted like soap, there was a 1 person portion of mash potato (and my boyfriend who avoids carbs usually pointed that out), the turkey breast was sooooo dry. The leg and ham were both delicious though. Despite this being a yearly thing we book, because it’s usually incredible, this’ll be the last time we join for it

Our server Kordell was great, really courteous, welcoming and considerate. He made our evening, it has been a while since we have been to Bodeans. The food was not as good on this occassion, burnt ends and baby back ribs were good, however, the chicken was a bit on the dry side and the spare ribs were too salty which impacted the flavour of the ribs. So as I said earlier, the service is what made our evening rather than the food, which is a real shame as we had waited so long to enjoy a meal with you. Not sure when we will dine with Bodeans again, but we hope we can give a 10/10 review.

It's all Good at Bodeans, it was the first time I've taken my kids there and I was a tad worried but all good, kids menu is real food, not crap and my veggie daughter loved her food.

Booked a table for my birthday, there was no acknowledgement of the occasion. Almost felt like the staff didn't care as they were more fixated on watching the England football game. My vegetarian friend of 8 years was served a beef burger and ate a small piece of it leaving her distraught when she realised. Although the lovely waitress was extremely apologetic and replaced the dish, the whole meal was ruined which upset me as I chosen this restaurant and felt as if I had made a bad decision and disappointed her. Please consider re-naming the smokey Jack and smokey Joe burgers on the menu to avoid this happening again to anyone else. Will not be returning.

Avoid the Soho branch, it looks like a Soviet era dive.
Try the Tower Bridge one instead, which resembles a more authentic US experience.

The food was brilliant, the only issue we had was there was quite a large amount of fat in the pulled pork which could have easily been removed if it had been shredded a little more . However everything else was delicious, super tender and really good quality . We absolutely loved the Texas sausage

Well it was okay. Atmosphere downstairs lacked energy, music and or fun. It was okay... Food was standard. Wings overcooked and burnt ends lacked crisp. More pulled pork. Drinks were nice and service was quick.

I’ve been to Bodeans many times before and the food has always been excellent, me an my wife both had the Ribs and both were quite tough and tasted like they had not been cooked for long enough (normally the meat falls of the bone, I also ordered some spicy chicken wings which were very dry and over cooked to the point you could not taste any of the flavour/sauce. Luckily our friends had the burnt ends which were much better than our meals. Very disappointing.
