This was our regular Italian restaurant 20-30 years ago, and we went back for a nostalgic visit to celebrate my wife's birthday. Mario gave the same cheerful welcome as always, our waitress was friendly and helpful, the food choice and quality was excellent, and the ambiance just right. We will not leave it 20 years before our next visit!

We have used this restaurant many times over the years, mainly for special occasions. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Clever use of mirrors makes the space feel much larger than it actually is and the use of blinds makes it hard to believe you are next to a busy high street. Unusually the seasonal vegetables are just that, and a good choice and quantity. Odd thing to say but it's not true for many restaurants!
