Le Culinaire is open for Spring 2026 on Wednesdays & Thursdays to students, faculty, staff, and the public offering Thursday lunch and Wednesday dinner services from February 11 until April 2. A reservation is required. Reservations can be booked up to three weeks in advance using the online reservation system. Reservations and table sizes are limited for the benefit of the students and to ensure good service can be provided for guests. Seating's for lunch begin from 12-12:30 p.m. and 6-6:30 p.m. for dinner.
The cost of lunch is $18 per person and $30 per person for dinner. Le Culinaire accepts payments by credit card or check (made payable to UA-PTC CAHMI). Cash is not accepted.
All major credits are accepted. Funds received from Le Culinaire will be invested in providing for program and student needs, including student activities and scholarships as well as purchasing ingredients and supplies like pots and pans.
*No alcohol may be consumed on premises during lunch or dinner service.

Lunch services are prepared by students in the Food Production III class, an introduction to restaurant and buffet service. Dinner services are prepared by students in the Food Production IV class, which is one of the final classes that students take before completing an Associates of Applied Science in Culinary Art.

Everything was great. Food was delicious and the service was excellent too.
Don't go for the atmosphere. While it was pleasant, we were eating at a school and so the atmosphere was not really exciting. I am sure that this comment is no surprise to anyone.
I would be happy to return.

My friend and I had the most AMAZING time. Everything was so delish and we will be back. However, I do think that a bit more investment into getting the fine dining room a bit nicer would give it 10's across the board. I will def be back!

The food was delicious. The only thing I would rate a nine would be the temperature of the food. It was not as hot as it could have been when it reached our table. However; the taste was amazing! Everything else was excellent. We enjoy spending our wedding anniversary at LeCulinaire. We plan to return next year.

We very much enjoyed being there. The food was very good. The salmon was significantly overcooked, but otherwise it was all delicious in the mushroom soup with some of the best I’ve ever had. We very much appreciate the students and the faculty!

Daniel was very nervous, but provided good service. The appetizer and entree were excellent. The desserts were disappointing. The cream puff was hard to cut through even with a fork and knife. The pavlova is way too sweet. Three of us each took a bite and none of us could eat it, and we like sweet things.

We’ve been enjoying the meals at Le Culinaire for several years. Yesterday’s lunch was excellent, as always. Two of our party of four thought the salad was outstanding, and the other two really enjoyed the three bean chili. Among the all enjoyable entrees, the catfish and grits was especially creative and tasty. The desserts were delicious but not as innovative or spectacular as we’ve previously experienced. The service was attentive, helpful, and informative. We look forward to a return experience if we can get reservations later in the semester. Thanks so much to the students and staff for a terrific dining experience.

The following comments offered as part of the learning experience. All food items were terrific; however, the fritters were barely warm. The service dragged and it took a long time between courses to order the next course. It also took a long time to get the check and to make the credit card payment. That said, the program is terrific and the overall experience is wonderful. Here’s a pet peeve. I think the dessert utensils set above the place setting are consistently backward every time. You might want to check, as I could be wrong. But the dessert spoon handle should face right and the fork handle faces left, with the spoon above the fork.

A lovely meal but we are all very disappointed that we can no longer bring our own wine. Whoever made the decision to change this policy is misguided. It has been the policy ever since I started coming to the dining program and the change is entirely unwelcome. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has complained and I hope you will take our dissatisfaction to heart and reinstate the wine policy.

The servers were very nice but apologized for no apparent reason every time they came to the table. They need to be trained to not reach across the table in front of the guests and to clear used dishes prior to bringing out the next course.
The food was mostly very good, we especially enjoyed the beef tenderloin entrée, and both the desserts.
We enjoyed the experience overall and plan to return in the near future.
