First time visiting - not sure if this is a posh dining experience or local eatery. Both styles have good bones to start but if looking for posh dining then service needs to be more on the ball, we sat without a drink for a while as did others. For local eatery maybe change the music choice and be more chatty at the bar for a cosy experience. Food was excellent and you've made a good start.

Lovely restaurant waitress was lovely but felt the lasagne was bland . One of our party had the steak and mushroom pie said it was delicious so will try that next time.

This was our first visit to the new pub!! Food was excellent. The upstairs has a restaurant feel rather than a pub vibe. The service was excellent and we can’t wait to go back!

The food was excellent, and the small portions just right for old ladies. My friend with seeing problems would appreciate the menu on the website so it can be read to her in advance. We will definitely be returning.

The food and service were very good. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and lit. The background music was competing with the chefs' music who is first arrived which was sensory overload. As soon as I asked, the chefs' music was turned off without a fuss. It would perhaps have been nice to have the specials printed out or on a board, along with their prices. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I'll definitely be returning. We'll done!

It was ok friendly and efficient staff, I'm coeliac and found there wasn't a great deal of gluten free options. We still enjoyed the evening and my partner got her drinks on the house as it was her Birthday.

Food was lovely but far too much so couldn’t fit a pudding in! Service seemed to be better at some tables but we were left with empty plates in front of us for a long time. Beer was great. The ambience will improve over time I think, music was too loud in the end so that just needs to be tweaked. We will be back but hoping you do smaller plates/sandwiches on a lunchtime
