Excellent meal, as always. We enjoy a leisurely meal, and the timing between courses was just right. I like having a wet wipe and extra napkin to use after eating mussels, king prawns etc - so much more practical than a “finger bowl”. Hope to see you all again soon!

8 ladies on a golfing break in Gainsborough looking for an evening meal on a Sunday, not easy as most places closed early, then I found Il Gusto - you saved the day! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food, excellent ! Thank you Il Gusto , we shall return

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Service excellent and VFM good. Decor is pleasant but our only complaint was noise ++. It was busy but tables and chairs are so close, and people seem to need to be very vocal!

On arrival the service was very good and our food arrived in a timely manner. Then we were left a long time and had to try and get someone's attention. We were never offered the dessert menu either. Our plates were not cleared until we finally got someone's attention and ordered coffee. I know it wasn't busy, so the staff didn't need to be about a lot, but the table behind us, did get more attention than to two of us. On saying all this, it wouldn't stop me returning, as this was my first visit.
