We loved everything about this place from the food to the speak-easy downstairs. We understand the restaurant has hours of operation but was bummed we didn’t have it as a dinner option on Sunday b/c the food was so great on Saturday. We found a place down the street that was fun, though. I also appreciated the breakfast coupon for the restaurant in town. We loved it. The room could have used a few hooks or shelves since it was small. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay. Loved the location.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Railroad House and could not have been more pleased. The wait staff was just outstanding and was very attentive without being intrusive. Food was very good and the portions were more than ample. Our drinks were tasty and again, an ample pour. Finally, our deserts were great and not a small portion.. We are used to driving to Lancaster for upscale dining, but those days are gone. It will be back to the Railroad House.

We think this is one of the best restaurants in Lancaster county. Our party of 6 all ordered different entrees and everyone liked what they ordered. The menu is varied and there are many great choices! Our only complaint was that the entrees were brought out before we had finished our salads. With the size of the table, there was nowhere to put the salad plates so we had to rush to finish them. One other suggestion would be to ask whether we wanted to order bread when we were placing our entree orders or to make it clearer that bread would not be provided and needed to be ordered separately. Overall though, we were very pleased and will be back!!

I had an absolutely wonderful time during my stay last weekend! My room was adorable and the bed was so comfy! Dinner was amazing and thanks to the chef for being so accommodating and generous with my carnivore way of eating! Lovely time at the elopement party and brunch the next day was great. The only thing I was not crazy about was the super intense fragrance of the bedding. It was overwhelming, especially the first night. Overall, a fabulous experience, thank you!

We love the RRHI. Great food by any “foodie’s “ standard. The Drinks, fugetaboutit! Delicious food, friendly/interactive server, fun setting. I especially appreciated how kindly the request of one of our diners for crab cakes was handled. Everything was wonderful as usual. My son did have a hard time with the lychee balls in his drink. He would have preferred just the liqueur, but it made for a good laugh and a good story. My scallops, and all the accompaniment’s were really delicious and he loved his tacos and the pork belly. Our server was wonderful as well. Just the right amount of checking on us. I’ve been to this restaurant for three different occasions. The first for the Perry St Cellar which was a beautiful and intimate setting for a bridal shower. The second for an outdoor wedding which left such an impression (amazing service, life changing food, an unforgettable time) we decided to return to tour for my own wedding!
