Great food, as always. We don’t live locally but ever time we are that way… we have to go, possibly the best pies I’ve ever had. And out last meal was up to the same standards, well I was given the wrong pie but I cleaned the plate as it was also lovely

Visited for lunch and was not disappointed. Every course was well presented and very tasty. The young waitress, think her name was Hina (sorry) was a delight, nothing was too much trouble, didn’t rush us and was so helpful. Would definitely return.

A very warm friendly welcome from a very smartly dressed sharp looking young lad called Mo! And served by a very switched on and funny young lady ( I didn't get her name but she was so sweet).... Now the decor is a bit like going into my old aunt glads house back in the 80s it represents and old museum! Where we sat was a table for 4 but with a suit of armour that seems like it wants to share your starter slightly in the way ! Lucky it was juste and the ole doris dining so it wasn't a drama ! Now let me talk about the food! My god I had the steak and kidney pie and it's up there iny top 5 of pies ! The filling was beautiful and tender and chunks of steak and kidney filled to the brim ! Absolutely Devine pastry topper bang on cooked chips ( I ordered an extra portion to soak up the pie gravy) banging ! My better half had fish , she said it was cooked beautifully so I'll take her word for it as I'm not a fan of fish ! Great restaurant with honest food and a fantastic value for money due to portion size ! And it has a really lovely feel to the place as it's probably never lost or changed what it is ! So from me 10/10

If you are in Canterbury you must eat from Old Weaver's at least once. Reservations are highly recommended. The Old Weaver's Pies are a must. If that's not something you like, the Pan Fried Salmon wrapped in bacon is a good second. The food is great. The staff are just as great. Do yourself a favor and make time for this place!

The roast dinners were excellent. The Stilton, meatball and sausage pie was not a pie as the meat was on top of the mash! We were given a lovely quiet area for our group of 9 which was really nice. Service good and staff very pleasant. Thank you for a great experience. Would happily visit again. Toilets could be better!

Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Wanted more gravy with my roast dinner and fetching additional gravy from the kitchen was no trouble. Menu prices were higher compared to a carvery. Roast dinner was excellent. Custard with the pudding was not very warm. Overall very good. I would definitely return to the restaurant.

We visited after walking past the evening before and seeing a good selection of food on the menu. We were welcomed by staff and sat straight down outside next to the river which was lovely as the evening was starting. We both opted for pies as per the recommendations from the lady serving us and the pies were amazing. The waitress was very friendly, chatty and made our time there very enjoyable (apologies I didn’t catch her name) but overall I would recommend and come back here again, thank you

We enjoyed everything about our visit. We had a convenient table to watch punters along the river in a sunny day yet we were in the shade due to the clever design or the arboretum. My hamburger was amazing (the equivalent of three patties in America, with bacon the equivalent of three Canadian bacon slices). My husband was delighted to have a Sunday roast when it wasn’t even a Sunday. Fast, friendly service in a pretty atmosphere for delicious food!

We had our wedding Day meal/reception a day after all covid restrictions were lifted in 2021. So for our 2nd Wedding Anniversary we came back for a lovely meal. Weather this time a little gloomy so stayed inside. Didn't change our views. Would highly recommend

We really enjoyed our visit at The Old Weavers! The food was delightful, the pub itself is really sweet and the service was amazing! Definitely one of our Canterbury-Highlights!

The food is delicious, the portions are large, the servers are friendly, helpful, polite and patient. The atmosphere is truly special and makes for a wonderful treat for anyone visiting Canterbury .... or for the lucky locals who live here.

Beautiful historic restaurant with great menu and delicious food. The roast beef dinner was perfect and stuffed chicken was tender and delicious as well. Friendly and accommodating staff - we will be back!
