Roost is built on the premise that good food doesn’t need to be fancy. Simple food done well can be as good as fine dining without all the stuffiness. Roost began life as a chicken restaurant so we have built on that to offer complementary dishes that will satisfy every palate and diet.

Hoof & Hook is a farm-to-table restaurant located at 43 High St, Tenterden. The restaurant serves fresh, locally sourced produce, with beef and potatoes coming from its own local Romney Marsh farm. The interior of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with a rustic decor that complements the farm-to-table concept. Fine dining chef's table restaurant set in a private and discreet location in a renowned Japanese garden. Highly sustainable, refined cooking with the highest quality local produce and excellent service. We typically limit both lunch and dinner reservations to 14 people, though we can do larger groups when discussed with us in advance. Our indoor total limit is 24 maximum for a simple menu. We are equidistant between Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and Maidstone and provide a very special bespoke dining experience to many regular guests from those areas and the surrounding villages and hamlets.

We are a small family run tea room / café offering breakfast, lunches, cakes etc., we also have a small selection of gifts to purchase together with our Sweet Shop and home made preserves. Our food is made fresh to order, we aim to prepare your food and serve it to you within 20 minutes, however at busy times this may take longer. If you are on a restricted time limit please let us know, we are happy to take your order over the phone and have it ready for you when you arrive.
