Love Gino's.
As a former restaurant person on every level, I offer this in the opportunity requested in this email.
This time the food wasn't as yummy. The truffle fries good and hot, love these. Sauce to fries ratio not portional. Had the small Pacino. Took over an hour to receive and it was luke warm at best. Was very chewy like rubber, really only tasted the ricotta. Tables seated after us already received food and table next to us who cane in an hour or more after us got their Pacino order 3 minutes after we did and we could see it was hot. It was good to be told at start of service pizzas take an hour, would love to see wait time for food shortened. I know yall are building it to perfection and need kitchen support.
Our server was okay. Not as attentive as was needed with an appetizer taking as long as a pizza. I felt bad the table didn't get turned but the timing of everything was off.
The bag of Zeppoles was delivered and it wasn't shaken up, meaning it was powered sugar on bottom and uncoated dough pieces on top. I knew what to do, but a newbie would not have had the full experience. It would be good to have a long fork or something to retrieve the dessert piece out of the paper bag, maybe bags not so deep? Or once delivered, the server cuts the bag down and opens it to show off the dessert. I love eating with my fingers, but the presentation etc is quite messy on multiple levels.
Overall it was fine, because I knew what was happening establishing in the building of the harmony of restaurant operations. Best part, seeing Sean, AnnaMaria, y'all just light the place up!
