We had a very nice Sunday lunch here. The food was very tasty and presented well. We liked the fact it was community run and you got the impression of it being a real part of the village. One of the highlights of our holiday was lunch at The Bell. The welcome we received from all staff was wonderful. The chef even came out and spoke to us on a few occasions. He even provided some entertainment for us all at the end of the meal!! Where else would you receive such treatment in a beautiful old inn whilst enjoying a delicious meal? Thank you so much!

A lovely country pub in a beautiful location.
We really enjoyed our visit,but have a couple of observations.
1. Table not prepared on arrival
2. Food arrived on cold plates and meat not hot. Vegetables we're lovely and hot with a nice selection to choose from.
3 .pint of beer was flat with no gas bubbles in glass, however no issue and it was changed straight away.
4. Overall food was good value and we enjoyed our visit, nice treats for dog too which we appreciated.

the food was lovely but the portions were rather large especially the chips and the garlic bread for a lunchtime,and my husband was very disappointed that there was no black pepper available,we did ask but were told no.
