Have always enjoyed coming to Florio’s but wish you did not support the Coca Cola Company which has an outlet in an Israeli settlement in the West Bank and supports the Israeli govt in many ways.

Disappointing to see that there us no table service for ordering and we needed to queue up like a canteen to order. There were a few other tables already waiting for food and I was told it would be a 50 min wait for food, which i accepted. However, it went way past this point and still no sign of the food. When we queried, we were told our order would be next. Considering our table was booked for 7pm, we still hadn't received our pizza by 20.56. So we asked for a refund and left with no food. We then went to Sant Yago and had wonderful food, quick service and left very happy. Sadly I will not recommend Florios.

The ambiance is lost in the new place to the old one. Lost the old street vibe. Service was poor. Someone brought a dog in and 4 of the 5 people serving were playing with the dog and not acknowledging us. We waited for a long time to be served and even longer for our plates to be cleared for dessert. Not a good experience.

We loved the pizzas , which we have had many times as we live locally. Very disappointed that although we were surrounded by bags of pasta , we were told that it was not possible to cook some for our 3 yr old grandaughter who does not like pasta. We only wanted it with a bit of butter and grated cheese on top , no fancy sauce!! Perhaps you could provide some simple kids choices??

Our view of our visit to Florio's D'Italia:
The atmosphere and ambience had the authentic Italian feel. The food was excellent and you could see chef preparing the pizza's and putting them into the oven. The pistachio cannoli was delicious. It does take a while for order to be served, however this is because food is freshly made and worth the wait. The staff are friendly and attentive. Will recommend and we will be visiting Flori's D'Italia again.

The drinks service was slow and only one drink was brought over, I had to remind the female server that there was a second drink, which she then went and got, we received our pizza but then the burrata side didn’t arrive until we asked for that also. However the male member of staff who served us later was very efficient and friendly and I’ve been before and noted he always checks on how the food is during the meal, so it’s just getting all the team to that standard which would be great and make you feel welcome. Food is delicious, thanks again!

Lovely lovely meal, the pizzas were testy and the short rib gnocchi really amazing! The staff were very friendly. The only thing letting it down was the no table service, it would have been nice to have our order taken at the table rather than walking up to the bar.
We will be back but maybe for lunch this time.

Your service is quite poor, so many staff but we still had to go to the counter to order for 5 people. Half the plates cleared and half left there while we had pudding. Had to go and get my own spoon so I can eat my pudding.
You could be on to a goldmine if you sorted your service as your pizzas are lovely.

The four of us loved the relaxed ambiance of the place. Ordering was easy and service was quick. We all had pizza after a platter starter and there was nothing left so they went down a storm. My pizza was yummy and I would definitely recommend.

The pizzas here are amazing! Really enjoyed the taste of the dough and they were really well cooked.
The service was a tad slow, but I think that was just due to the fact that they can only cook two pizzas at a time in their oven. We were more aware of this as we had a young child who was getting hungry.
The cost felt a little expensive for what it was, but I was pleased that it tasted so nice for what I paid.
We had booked to use a high chair, but none were available when we arrived. We didn't mind originally, although we discovered that someone hadn't booked but needed a high chair. Some consideration for what bookings they have coming and any additional bits needed for them wouldn't go a miss.
I'll definitely be back in the future for more lovely pizzas!

The pizza was amazing. Napolitan style pizza with original ingredients, and the dough was properly fermented. Good choice of wine, Valpolicella ripasso superiore is highly recommended, but they also have Barolo, Chianti and lots of other well known wines. The Sicilian cannoli with fresh ricotta and pistacchio were perfect and the gelato were amazing. All the waiters were very professional and helpful with the information.

Although it was a pleasant evening l was sadly disappointed that it is classed as a restaurant but it is really just a pizza place with no alternatives except towards the weekend and as a result one of my friends did not eat so maybe they need to add some pasta dishes to their menu. Excellent service - friendly, polite and efficient.
Delicious food - though the ragu/gnocci could’ve been hotter and the aubergine parmigiana less well done. The drinks were lovely and the hazelnut cheesecake utterly delicious.
We also bought pistachio chocolate, pistachio biscuits and hazelnut biscuits from the deli and all are so lovely - will definitely buy again!

Previously visited at the old portsmoith location and had a much better experience.
We were sat at our outside table awaiting our order to be taken, when we asked we were then told we needed to go up and order and pay, which we did. The salad was brought out before any drinks. When the pizza came out we had to ask for cutlery and side plates.
We then ordered a desert, that came out again with no offer of any cutlery.
We asked for some but never received any. The food was reasonable but not as good as previous visits which combined with the service was dissapointing.
