We are delighted that you will be joining us at our Long Table. Your reservation will be held for 15 minutes. We have a limited number of tables indoors. Many of our tables are outside on our lovely accessible oceanfront patio. When you make a reservation please let us know if you prefer indoor or outdoor seating and we will do our best to accommodate.

We had a lovely dinner. Every entree & dessert were delicious & artistically presented. The restaurant was not busy, so we didn’t feel rushed. We were able to totally enjoy the restaurant setting & watch the sun set over the water. A real treat.

Cooking with fire - amazing event. Sept 4 2015, great music, amazing food, and the dessert ( 'Baked Nova Scotia' miniature baked Alaska with blueberry ice cream and blueberries in the base - fabulous.

Beautiful spot! Restaurant aims to please with friendly service and a varied menu. The lobster rolls served on croissant were filled with large pieces of lobster. Only complaint the kitchen served a few meals cold.

The Long Table Social Club is well worth the drive to Scots Bay. The staff greeted us with a smile and we were able to get a table outside with the most beautiful view. Our servers stopped bye early to get our drink and food order and everything arrived shortly after. The food was very good and we enjoyed each bite. The weather certainly made the experience that much better, however I feel that even dinner inside with inclement weather would have been very nice. We will be back soon

This was our first visit to long table - I am unsure what we expected but it was exceptional. Our server, Megs, was lovely. We ended up sitting on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful view. The food was excellent!! Seafood chowder is to die for.

Food was great, portions very large, and the service was friendly and quick. Coffee was super as well. The fish cakes were so, so. Not typical cakes but a chefs interpretation of an old classic. Desserts were yummy and the view from the deck is world class.

We loved the food. Maybe they could have given us the option to eat out on the deck. If they had given a free dessert for the birthday girl we would have ordered another dessert. Why ask about the occasion if you are not going to celebrate it?

The only negative thing was that it was an hour waiting for our food, once we ordered. Party of two with one item each, as when it was almost an hour my companion was told that her seafood chowder appetizer was no longer available. Wine was served quickly. Service extremely friendly. Lovely view. Reservation was honoured quickly and we had a window table. The owner who happened to wait on us as well acted quickly and discreetly to resolve an issue outside our window which was ruining the view for us. My companion was from Saskatchewan and we've come there before. She and I will both come again. The long wait was the main drawback as there wasn't even an explanation for it by the time we should have been receiving our food.

I want to offer helpful feedback to the owner and chef from a vegetarian customer. There is one item on the menu for vegetarians - tacos - and I happily ordered them. The tacos were mostly lettuce with a few black beans and chopped peppers. They were very pretty. Unfortunately, they were dry, very bland, and I left hungry. There is a misconception that vegetarians only eat vegetables when, in fact, we require the same amount of protein as our carnivore friends to feel sated. I watched my three friends enjoy their burgers and chicken and leave feeling full and satisfied. The taco meal, as it was served last night, was not at all filling. Or even tasty. They needed more protein (more beans + some rice and even vegetarian ground "beef") and the small drizzle of sauce was hardly noticeable. I think if you had received the same meal, you also would have been disappointed. I really struggle leaving a negative review and am sending this knowing it is not a public review but feedback that will go directly to the restaurant and not be publicly posted. My hope is that you will take this constructive feedback and aim to do better for your vegetarian customers. I want to be a repeat customer - you've got a great thing going there - so I hope to have a better experience the next time I go to the Long Table Social Club.

The setting and location of this restaurant is stunning. Inside the restaurant is also beautiful. The food, however, was mediocre. I had the scallops on the brioche bun and it was good but nothing outstanding. The sauce on it was excellent. The presentation of the meals were lovely and worth mentioning that the way the salad was plated was exquisite, however, it lacked flavour. There were very few potato wedges and they were quite light on the seasoning and very much on the dry side. Had these two small sides stepped up to the plate a little, then it would have been worth the $25 but they did not and as such, I was disappointed. I will also mention that the music playlist was very distracting and really took away from the ambiance of the incredible view and beauty of the restaurant. We were one of only two tables seated inside and the vibe for a slow and grey afternoon with my two small children and my mother was not a collection of both modern and indie pop with a blasting bass. It was also too loud. Music is such an important part of a space and makes or breaks the ambiance. Unfortunately, this kind of music really took away from our experience. Please take note of this and do better next time. Thank you! We will be sure to come back. It's really a special spot.

We really enjoyed the beautiful patio and atmosphere of the restaurant and we were excited about the menu. Unfortunately, we were both disappointed with our meals, as both fish dishes were overcooked and my vegetables were cold and mushy. However, service was excellent and we loved that you were dog friendly!
