Where greeted by a lovely member of staff who showed us to our reserved table. Informed about starters and meat available for Yorkshire pudding. Returned and took our drinks and food order and not long after that our food arrived, all delicious. Many thanks.

We all very much enjoyed our meal. Very pleasant staff. It was busy but staff were coping well & very attentive. Had a bit of a wait for our condiments which come in little individual paper tubs. It’d be better if they had a crate that went from table to table with all the sauces, mustard & vinegar in. Apart from that perfect. Delighted this place has been revived & so nice that the decor reflects its history.

I had the scampi and chips which were of a very good quality and a good portion . I don't tend to eat a lot of chips but they were delicious as was the scampi. My friend had the steak pie and he said it was also delicious . The table service could have been a bit better as had to go to the bar to order more drinks as the staff didn't keep an eye out to see if we needed another. The staff however were friendly . I would definitely recommend The Station Inn

We had a lovely lunch thank you. If looking for honest feedback, a bit of live or recorded music would be good on a Saturday afternoon to give a bit more of a weekend atmosphere. Can you consider serving home made chips as that would have made the main perfect. Dessert and coffees were 10/10. Staff very friendly and helpful. We weren’t rushed so able to get a good catch up. Thank you

Felt we had to wait to get served drinks to begin with Partly because we had originally booked for 5 people however I did update the system to 3 people . Felt the menus were a bit confusing and didn’t enjoy using the paper clipboard they weren’t in the correct order and Infection reasons the menu board can’t be wiped down The bread we got with the soup was hard as it had obviously been left out in the atmosphere and disappointing it was just a Normal loaf bread rather a roll or crusty bread Main meals were super and the staff checked in on us a few times , would definitely return despite a couple of minor details

We were in the rear conservatory which was a bit chilly even though I had a heavy jumper on. My daughter and I had macaroni cheese which was not great it was overcooked, needed cheese and was very gluey but my husband loved his yorkie wrap.

Lovely surroundings. Staff very helpful. Food was a bit of a letdown. I had the macaroni cheese. Not very cheesy at all. A layer of cheese on top but the actual sauce let it down. For dessert had the mars bar sundae. 2 small pieces of mars bar. Sauce grainy. Think it might be a bit of the mars bar melted. Dosen’t work I’m afraid.

Husband loved his food as did I but found too much food on the plate but that's just me. Also thought prices was slightly high. Did not like John Smiths beer. Understandably nothing can be done about that. Overall very good. Thank you.

First visit since opening. Loved the look of the pub and the sign to remind me staff in training was great. It was clear there were different levels of experience but that didn’t really effect our overall positive experience. I booked through the app and put on I was bringing my dog. Love that he could come too. I was given a table where there was no room for the dog and found I was constantly trying to move him to let people past. Which was mildly inconvenient for waitresses and other guests. most other tables were more suitable. The food was lovely and range of choice was great. Potions were huge and it would be lovely to ses a half portion option at lunch time . Looking forward to many more meals in the Station inn

We came to support our locally newly opened restaurant and had a lovely time. The staff were lovely and very friendly. We will definitely be returning and we want to see the Station Inn thrive so a couple pieces of feedback! I rated service lower as when asked what the soup of today was we were told tomato (I’m not a fan of this so didn’t order but two of our party did) when the soup came it wasn’t tomato (no explanation but just handed down to us). It turned out the soup was potatoe and leak I think? Which I would of definitely ordered. We didn’t bring it up at the time as we never like to cause a fuss but we all discussed on way home and realised it would of benefited restaurant to make them aware of this error. My starter wasn’t great (slice of bread with salad dropped on top) tasted okay but presentation wasn’t great and would of tasted a lot better if proportioned better and seasoned. Main meals were lovely. Good price and overall lovely place.

Service was fine, mistake made with our order in that our main dish was delivered but we had not had our starter. Main dish returned to kitchen and another wait for the starters. Young waiter had definitely written down our starters so think the mistake was made by the kitchen staff. Both the starter and main dish sauce was a bit on the salty side, this is from someone who likes salt. I also thought the sauce that accompanied the starter was the same sauce on the chicken main dish with the addition of paprika.
