A lovely hotel with fabulous staff and great food. The staff looked after us despite our odd dietary requirements and chef altered his dishes to suit us which we really appreciated. The taxi service was much appreciated too.

It’s a lovely venue. We ate outside in the garden, which is a very relaxing well-designed space. My friend has food issues and they put together a meal composed from different elements of the menu with no problem whatsoever. I had a pasta dish which was huge! I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Excellent stay, nice room if a little on the small side but fine for one night. Staff were lovely, friendly, good service, excellent food although slightly limited menu. Plenty of free parking at the venue and two minutes off the motorway so easy to find. Ashburton is a super little town and worth visiting, some lovely independent shops.

Furzeleigh Mill has an amazing chef, backed up by first class front of house. For dinner, my wife had hake, which was delicious (nice thick piece, cooked to perfection). I had the wild mushroom pasta, which was just perfect. The whole team are amazing and really go the extra mile. Cooked breakfast was fabulous too.

The hotel has been beautifully renovated to keep the original features. We had excellent service and very good food. Sadly, as we'd had a long tiring day, we could only manage a main course, but would definitely visit again when next in the area. Would recommend for food and would expect the accommodation to be of a high standard too, (we were staying elsewhere).

Our experience turned out to be better than we thought.
The one downside but not a problem as we sat near a radiator
And the sun coming threw the window we got over heated.
