Ivana was the best server I could have had for my birthday dinner. She was so friendly and cheerful, and kept my soda glass full. The filet mignon dinner was delicious, especially the glaze sauce!! I absolutely loved the chocolate mousse with fresh blueberries on top. The cinnamon doughnut holes were awesome since they were nice and warm. Even the host came over and wished me a happy birthday. I was genuinely impressed with the whole evening. Thank you!

I know that food costs are high, but the cost of a nice meal at a fine restaurant is obscene. I'd encourage some consideration of making sure the prices are not any higher than they HAVE to be to cover costs and turn a profit. Modest profits are a success for businesses in these inflationary times. It appears to me that business owners are thinking much more aggressively than "modest" when they consider desired net income levels. (These are my thoughts as a restaurant owner)

The elk chops and shrimp meal was out of this world. Seasoned and cooked to perfection complimented by fresh and crisp green beans and a wonderful risotto. The wild game sausage sampler has a perfect game and cheese pairing that will compliment any of the meal items. The service staff is friendly and welcoming, and the chef engages personally. I live 1,300 miles away and this was my second experience at Hunter's Chophouse, both equally amazing!

We had a great 18th birthday experience for my grandson. Our server Stephanie was absolutely perfect as she always is. Only problem was that everyone’s meal was perfect and delicious except my fish was really overcooked so was dry and almost black. The only negative is the value. It’s way too expensive for what you get. There is no bread or rolls served with the entrees. The cocktail prices are high.

From the hostess stand to signing the tab, our dining experience was absolutely out of this world. Our server David was very informative and always refilling our water and soda glasses. The food was portioned graciously, cooked perfectly, presented eloquently, and melted in our mouth's as we left no scraps behind. Beyond the food and the service, the casual lodge themed atmosphere made for a very soothing evening out. Based on our experience, we cannot provide and/or suggestions for improvements. We had a wonderful experience at Hunters Chophouse last week. It started with one of the best bartenders we’ve met in a long time, Sajib. He made an “aviation“ drink for me, which many bartenders don’t know how to make. And his was the best I’ve had. Our special evening continued in the dining room with our server, David. He was extremely knowledgeable about not only the food, but also about wine. My filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and my husband’s elk chops were beyond delicious. For anyone who hasn’t tried Hunters, the food is as fine as you will get in Estes…ANYWHERE for that matter! It was a truly awesome experience. Thank you for everything.

They had Elk medallions with shrimp. Once again the Elk was tender and delicious. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The 4 of us shared a giant sauce of in house made carrot cake which was sooo good as well. We'll be back.
