The staff at the Black rock restaurant is top-notch! We loved having our steaks cook on top of the black rock at our table. They helped us adjust our reservation with no problem. We would definitely come here again, and in fact, we ate here twice. We were here celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and they made it very special with a special dessert.

Blackrock was fantastic. Great food and great service. Everything was wonderful. the steaming plate of steak experience is very cool and memorable. Only thing to change is the music - there is the restaurant music playing (mostly local) and also the DJ right next to the restaurant - both playing loud different music - makes it hard to have a conversation. On humid nights also would be great to have some fans. The hot plates make it very warm sometimes.

We went here 3 out of 5 nights because it was that good. Milan was our waiter the first night but remembered us the other nights and went out of his way multiple times to make sure we were happy and if he could get us anything. Even during the day if we walked by he would say hi and ask if we needed anything. All the other employees were awesome as well! The hostess remembered us and we didn’t need to provide our name when checking in. The food was excellent and everything cooked to perfection! Lots of options and they are willing to accommodate everyone in any way possible.

The meats came out on a sizzling stone - very impressive. However, our party expected rare to medium rare. Our steaks were completely cooked Well-Well Done as a result. Our "Ahi" tuna, which should be simply seared and raw inside, was completely Well-Well Done as well, a VERY tough piece of fish, which was left un- eaten.
I would suggest keeping the stones, but bring the meat out raw, and let the diner decide how long to cook it. I had that experience in Portugal and it was excellent. But you need a plate on which to move the freshly cooked meat once done.
The staff is amazing, the quality of food better than expected, the variety truly impressive. Best wishes!

I ordered the Filet the first night we had arrived & was delicious. However, when my husband & I returned another evening, we both ordered the Filet we were both disappointed it was too over cooked. I would suggest servers tell the diners to remove meat (or salmon) after a while to prevent overcooking. Otherwise we enjoyed the nice selection for lunch.

Beautiful, setting, watching the sunset and looking at the ocean. Food was good, well worth it and we’ve come back every night. Service was amazing…. Shout out to suresh for his hospitality and recommendations.

We loved the food so much we actually dined at Black Rock twice in one week. Our only complaint was that the music/events on the stage area next to the restaurant were very loud, making it difficult to hear each other and converse over dinner. It was 6 of us and we did ask them to lower the music, which they did, but not by much. Overall our experience was fantastic, we would just have preferred it be slightly more quiet so we could've talked to each other a bit more without having to yell.
