Whilst waitress was ok and polite she needs some further training .
We have always admired one or two of the male waiters who normally serve further down towards the staircase and kitchen area.

Were were a party of four for lunch at the Brasserie and as usual we were warmly welcomed and received excellent service. We had the salt and pepper squid. It was a pity that all one could taste was the heavy batter. It was our first time eating, and we both expected the actual squid with tentacles! Not just what seemed like squid flavoured batter! Maybe in future, less batter and bigger squid (as that’s what the menu says)

We had a great evening, everything worked just beautifully. Gold stars to our waiter, and I'm so sorry I didn't get his name but he was quite fabulous - we were a large family table of very different ages and he took our orders so well, the food arrived in very good time and all together and we did explain to him that we started with the dessert and then had our main. the Creme Brulee were quite delicious.

There were four of us for lunch at Brasserie on Wednesday. One of our number has dietary needs which were catered for without a fuss.
All four of us being on the wrong side of 70 dithered over the menu enough to frustrate any waitress but ours was patience personified.
Finally, we made our choices of food and drink, and in spite of being warned that the Guineas Pie would take a bit of extra time, all of our orders arrived together. The Brasserie once again met all our expectations of ambiance, awesome cuisine and wonderful service.

We hardly ever go out as a family due to financial reasons. It was so great to be able to enjoy the pizza special and not worry to much about spending money. The food was so yummy and my pizza was the best I have ever had. What we also appreciated was that the kids food was brought out first so we could help them eat and then enjoy our food still hot afterwards. The kids also enjoyed going to a 'fancy' restuarant. AND thank you for your butter spaghetti, my son only eats 'plain' spaghetti so this was an amazing option.

My friend visiting from Greece absolutely loved her lunch, we both had fish, Beba had the fish in batter and mine grilled - absolutely delicious.
How you managed without water was incredible!

Great local spit with consistently high standard of food.
Initial service was slow. Waiter took an hour to take our food order. Needed to be asked to come.
After that it was good service.
