We had a wonderful dinner at Dick and Jenny’s. Everything we ordered was good- drinks, bread, salads, entree! A delicious meal! Our server was pleasant and attentive. We were there on a Saturday night, lots of people and conversations! There were four of us and it was a little hard to hear each other at times- but the meal made it worthwhile!

I’m from Sonoma County, CA, a foodie Mecca, and Dick and Jenny can take on any competition from there and win! I love living here and sometimes the incessant beef on weck , Italian food (the best there is!) and wings can get old. At Dick and Jenny’s, the food is rich, delicious and unique. I had a chicken cutlet with basil risotto and a lemon Chardonnay sauce that was out of this world. My husband had gumbo and jambalaya and raved about it to anyone who would listen. This place deserves more attention!

Cozy atmosphere. Loved that you have bread service and it was delicious! Restaurant week prices were very good. Did have 2 people with us who were not a couple so a restaurant week price for the single diner would have been welcome. Service was lesirely not rushed, server was attentive. All food was beautifully presented, with generous portions, that we packed was th flavor. The entire experience left me wanting to come back again. Well done.

We both enjoyed the gumbo very much. My only suggestion is that they offer a seafood version which my experience is better. My meals consisted of two appetizers: shrimp and grits and jambalaya - DELICIOUS!! My bride ordered the blackened haddock - moist and DELICIOUS!! Our server and the ambiance of D&J's made us question what took us so long to return?

We have been coming to Dick and Jenny's since it opened. It is the best thing to happen to Grand Island EVER!! Even though we no longer live on the island, we still make the trip frequently. It is well worth the 40 minute drive for us to get there. The food, service and atmosphere are exactly what we want when we go out for dinner. I hope that they are there for decades to come.

We visit Dick & Jenny's several times a year, every time we are greeted usually by Jenny herself with a warm welcome and an interest in how we've been doing since the last time we were there. The food is some of the best you will get anywhere around this area, never had a disappointing meal, I always start with a cup of gumbo and my wife loves the Jenny salad. The staff is so accommodating. They wanted to seat us at private room in front (9 ppl at 7:15) but by 7:45 the table wasn't finished so she had a back up plan and we were seated promptly. I love Dick and Jenny’s with the food as good as it taste it is overpriced by far! Same with the drinks are overpriced, but delicious. There were four of us who all enjoyed our meal, but left a lot on the plates because it was overkill smothered with the toppings. The desserts were just delicious.

Food was cooked to perfection and so much flavor! Our servers were friendly, attentive and knew the menu. We had a wonderful Christmas time dinner and will come again soon!
