Kickapoo TeaRoom is a unique dining experience in a 115 year old church with an atmosphere designed to let you relax and enjoy the people you are with. The menu is French inspired with sandwiches, salads, soups, and decadent desserts. Meals are served on three tiered towers that make any occasion feel special. My friend and I loved the experience. I think our server was Amy. She was great! The ambiance is perfect. So relaxing. I loved the salad, lunch and tea. I am GF so I ordered the only GF dessert option. I loved the mousse and cherries but the meringue was not great. It was too hard to cut and very sweet. I'm assuming it really wasn't meant to be eaten, but meant to be a bowl for the mousse. I would just put the mousse in a pretty bowl or cup. My friend shared my feelings about the mousse. I love the Kickapoo Tea Room and will definitely return! Thanks so much for taking the risk to open your tea room! :o)

The tea room is a wonderful experience! The decor is fabulous, and our service was magnificent!
Broccoli cheese soup was delish! We weren’t wild about the shepherds pie, and didn’t care for the black Forrest dessert at all, way too sweet. Just our personal preference. I’ve been before and enjoyed my food. Just didn’t pick things I liked this time.
We will be back for sure!

This TeaRoom made my day! I left feeling so happy! Just one thing to comment on - the towers are so neat, such a nice way to order a meal. But I did notice that as I ate my soup, the main dish did not stay hot, one disadvantage to serving all at once with the tower.

Everything was great! My only complaint is that we had the St. Patrick’s Day Special mint dessert. The dessert was a mint trifle which was brownie and icing…I expected that the dessert would have a whipped cream or pudding in it…It was way too sweet…I even scraped part of it off…. I brought my granddaughters here, (ages 7, 12 and 14), and they absolutely loved it. They live in Downs and didn't realize that a place this nice was there. The food was excellent, even for the youngest who is a picky eater. I really appreciate that there is an option that allows for two sides instead of requiring an entree selection. It would be nice for younger customers if there was a more 'basic' dessert option similar to a chocolate or white cake. Personally I think that your dessert options are decadent.

Suberb everything! Our table was a little wobbly so you might want to check that. Have you ever considered selling your fig jam in the gift shop? Excellent remodeling on the gift shop!
