Fabulous food! So different from our last visit last year, which was quite dreadful. (The steak was tough and the dessert was tinned fruit (pears?) with ice cream, swimming in tinned pear juice.)

A repeat customer this place never disappoints. One of tge true French restaurants around . The interior is nice and spacious with very friendly service and wait staff. As for the food - second to none and very generous . We were a party of three who all ordered the beef dish followed by a variety of desserts- two of those were flambé . This was our first visit to the French Rendezvous restaurant and it certainly won’t be the last. We were transported to France when we entered the cosy restaurant. The whole experience was just perfect - we there in anticipation of a visit to France in a couple of months.The food was exquisite and authentic and the menu descriptions were very accurate. The highlight was the crepes for dessert and the cider went down well too. I can’t think how it could be improved!

Excellent menu, delicious French food, just like in France, charming service and the best chocolate tart ever! All with a beautiful lake view.
If you want ordinary ol' burger and chips go Somewhere else!
