Our server Lilly was wonderful. She was very attentive and for someone so young she will only thrive in her lifetime. The food was delicious and the menu was varied , something for everyone in our party. That’s why I picked this restaurant. It was so good that my husband and I returned on Sunday for breakfast. Again the food and especially our server Lilly were wonderful.

We spent our first (of hopefully, many more) evening of Bugeye Grill dining yesterday … enjoyed superb service (from arrival thru Scott’s attentiveness, and all the way to his walking us outside to wish us goodbyes), exceptional food and presentation (from enticing appetizers thru various desserts), and inviting ambience (our party of six loved our seating on the front porch; live music provided a great backdrop without interfering with family conversations) … thanks to wait and kitchen staff, to location and decoration details, to fresh and local ingredients and a menu with diverse options (something for everyone), we had a most memorable (and unhurried) experience!

We had been to The Bugeye Grill once before and enjoyed the place so when I received a email about their Sunday afternoon dinner special - steak and shrimp with mashed potatoes and veggies - we decided a trip to Solomons Island was in order. The food was great. We added salads and a couple of margaritas. Our table was on front porch, which faces the water and is where I recommend sitting. The experience was as enjoyable as our last visit. Our server (I cannot recall her name) was very pleasant as were everyone who waited on us. The trip was unplanned so my only regret is that we didn’t invite some friends along. Regardless, we’ll be back soon enough.

It was our first time to eat there. We had ribeye steak, which was cooked perfectly medium rare. And I had lobster fettuccine. It was also delicious and generous portions. Everything about our New Year's Eve at the Bugeye Grill was amazingly wonderful
We had crab stuffed lobster which was divine and a genuine Smith Island cake for dessert. There was a special cocktail for the evening and the dining ambiance with piano music were perfection. Our server was so gracious and the decor is polished

Superb view of river. Christmas lights everywhere. Linen tablecloths. We were utterly charmed. We will go back. Had the good fortune to have the bartender, Brian, doubling as our waiter. Got expert advice on cocktails. Got steak and salmon. Both were excellent. Prices were not low but fair. Worth it.

This place is a 10/10 for me. Starting with the atmosphere, it is a beautiful space in the evening. Dining outside surrounded by the lights was a vibe. The service was amazing, and our waitress (I wish I could remember her name) was incredibly sweet and funny. The food was incredible, and well worth the price. Will be going there again.

Fast service. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The tables outside were wobbly, especially when it was a bit breezy. The food was very good - I had the crab cake and my husband had the burger.
