Reservation was for 2pm and by 2:30 they were out of 2 meat options. Lesson learned, get there early! Food was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!

We really enjoyed the roast beef
However, the vegetables were not the best! (Overcooked & rather burnt, it was served lukewarm)
We realise that it was the first weekend doing this, but you advertise it as gourmet! You will really have to work on improving the overall cooking of the accompaniments

Friendly staff. Food was amazing. Only downside was it was a bit pricey for Sunday Roast. Won't stop me coming back though.

We were quite hungry and each had 3 small potatoes some smaller than others but overall most things were cold on the plate. Quality and taste was good but portion and temperature was something everyone noted. We had booked a table for 5 and got the last 2 beef but was a shame as most people wanted Gammon. It was written on the board but left us with not much options other than to split between 4.

We went for Sunday Roast and had been looking forward to it. We love the smoke and soul food so expected a great meal. When we arrived, the place was pretty cold, we all had to keep our jackets on. They did close the shutter door after about half an hour and the room soon warmed up. The adult portion is £26 and the kids portion is £12. The only difference is the adults get 2 extra roast potatoes and 1 extra piece of broccoli. The food was good but I'd recommend getting a kids portion for everyone. The tables are small with benches at either side. It's a funky vibe but not the warming sunday roast vibes really, we'll go somewhere with comfy seats and cosy feel next and stick to the weekday food here.

A unique concept in Aberdeen and hopefully it is successful. I think the price for the roast at £25 is on the steeper end of pricing for a roast, especially relative to the portion size.
The amount of meat was okay, I wouldn’t say particularly significant given the price. However, the taste was great but a little dry. Perhaps, the consequence of a smoking process?
The roast potatoes were quite underwhelming; not crisp and the bigger ones definitely undercooked and hard. Also, getting 4 small 1/4 cut potatoes is not enough. For the price, these definitely need improvement. These definitely let down the overall meal.
Gravy was superb, a little small but very good. Carrots and broccoli were cooked well, not sure about the flavour with I assume cumin or fennel being used but nice.
Overall, an okay experience but not value for money given the smaller portion size and very poor roast potatoes. If the roast potatoes are improved then I think that really would change the overall experience and a couple more on the plate.
The service was good, no complaints there.
